With over 20 participants hailing from diverse internal teams within Commercial Bank, including risk management, data analytics, and operations, the workshop fostered a collaborative learning environment, igniting a passion for data-driven innovation.

In addition to the workshop, we had the privilege of supporting Commercial Bank in their talent acquisition efforts. By designing and delivering an assessment center aimed at recruiting a skilled BI Engineer, we further strengthened our partnership, paving the way for continued success.

In groundbreaking collaborations, CA Sri Lanka, CA Sri Lanka Kuwait Chapter, and the Society of Transport & Logistics Sri Lanka joined forces with Boffin Institute of Data Science to spearhead a series of awareness sessions on Data Science and Big Data. At the heart of this partnership was a shared commitment to empower members with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly data-driven world.

Central to this initiative was the creation of a bespoke program by Boffin Institute: “Thinking Like a Data Scientist.” Tailored for executives and top management new to the realm of Data Science, this program aimed to demystify complex concepts and equip participants with practical insights to drive informed decision-making.

Our 4-hour workshop, “Thinking Like a Data Scientist,” was meticulously crafted to achieve the following objectives:
